Harrisburg Crime Report: Robbery

As released by the Harrisburg Police Bureau:

Type of Incident: Robbery investigation.

. Date / Time: 02-08-2013, at about 2000 hrs.

. Location: S. 17th and Berryhill Sts.

. Investigating Officer: Detective Division. . Victim R/S/A: Black male, 11, Allison Hill resident.

. Suspect: Black male, teens, 5’5”, thin, and wearing a white tank top shirt and a dark doo rag.

. Charges: Pending.

. Narrative: On 02-08-2013 at about 2040 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to a home in Allison Hill on a report of a robbery. The officers were met by the victim and his adult family member. The young man said that he was walking to a local store when he was robbed at gunpoint. The robber came up and tapped him on the shoulder and demanded his money. The robber brandished a handgun. The young man didn’t have any money so he gave the robber an ACCESS card belonging to a family member. The robber walked off. The young man was not harmed.

Harrisburg Crime Report: Death Investigation

As released by the Harrisburg Police Bureau:

Type of Incident: Death investigation - shooting.

. Date / Time: 02-10-2013, at about 2240 hrs.

. Location: 1300 block of N. 15th St.

. Investigating Officer: Detective Ryan Neal.

. Victim R/S/A: Davion M. Walker, black male, 21, Midtown resident.

. Suspect: Maurice Belton, Jr., black male, 20, 1300 block of N. 15th St.

. Charges:

Criminal Homicide.

Tampering With Evidence.

Receiving Stolen Property.

Possession of Marijuana,

Possess of Drug Paraphernalia. . Narrative: On 02-10-2013 at about 2240 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the 1300 block of N. 15th St. on a report that man had been shot. The officers were met by Maurice Belton. He took them to Davion Walker who was on the floor at the bottom of the basement steps. An emergency medical service team arrived but it was determined that Walker was deceased. He had suffered a single gunshot to the chest.

. Maurice Belton subsequently explained that he was showing a handgun to Walker and didn’t realize that it was loaded. He pointed the gun at Walker and pulled the trigger. Walker collapsed and Belton got his mother for help.

. The handgun in the incident was determined to have been reported stolen. A small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia was found in Belton’s room. .
