Date / Time: 02-16-2013, at about 2300 hrs.
Location: 1900-2200 block of Paxton St.
Investigating Officer: Patrol Division. Person R/S/A: Black male, 49, Harrisburg resident.
Suspect: Sean Walton, white male, 31, Camp Hill.
Charges: Theft.
Possession of Marijuana.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Disorderly Conduct.
Trespassing.
Narrative: On 02-16-2013 at about 2305 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the area of Brenner Motors on Paxton St. on a report of an incident involving a man who fell into a quarry. The officers spoke to a man from Harrisburg who provided information. He said that he was seeking a male companion and picked up Sean Walton near S. 17th and Derry Sts. He drove Walton to a street off of Paxton St. and intended to go to a residence. Walton got upset and they argued. Walton grabbed the man’s car keys and ran off. The man chased him while yelling for help and for someone to call for police. Walton ran into traffic on Paxton St. and then to the rear of a lot at Brenner Motors and climbed over a fence. Walton fell into a quarry on the other side of the fence. He held onto a tree to keep from going into the water at the bottom of the quarry.
A large number of Fire and River Rescue personnel responded and had to cut through the fenced enclosure of the quarry to get to Walton. An emergency medical unit took Walton to the Hershey Medical Center emergency room. Walton left a short time later. He apparently did not suffer any significant injury.
Walton is being charged, as noted, via summons.
The investigation continues and anyone having any information on this is asked to contact Lt. Robert Fegan at 717-255-3114 or email HYPERLINK "mailto:rfegan@cityofhbg.com" rfegan@cityofhbg.com to reach officers handling the case.
