The raid on former mayor Reed's house and moving the contents to Penn Center Harrisburg.

On June 2, 2015 agents of the Attorney General's office conducted a raid on former Harrisburg mayor Steve Reed's home, a box truck and two vans were loaded with artifacts and boxes containing possessions removed from the property.

The following morning contents of the trucks were moved into an office building at Penn Center Office Campus, located on the 2600 block of North Third Street in uptown Harrisburg.

The office complex used to house the Polyclinic Medical Center the website penncenterharrisburg.com lists Mike Daley and Burton Morris as owners.

Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse held a press event Wednesday morning to announce the return of of the remnants of the warship Royal Savage to the U.S. Navy.

Former Harrisburg mayor Steve Reed purchased the collection in 1995 for $42,500, the artifacts have been stored in the National Civil War Museum and various city owned buildings.

The warship was under command of Benedict Arnold when it ran aground during the historic Battle of Valcour Island October 11, 1776.
