On Monday Dec 15, the County of Dauphin sued the Harrisburg Authority. The lawsuit is in reaction to the 159% increase in tipping fees proposed by the Authority, the county is claiming the following, the Authority did not give the public adequate notice of the increase,the Authority did not give a 30 day notice to the County,and the failure of the Authority to follow procedures of the the Disposal Agreement.The hearing will be held Monday Dec 22,2008.We are predicting the County will prevail, and be granted relief.r
