. Narrative: On 05-02-2013 at about 2230 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the Jazzland Bar on a report that a man had been shot. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the back of his thigh. He said that he went outside the bar to text a friend. He heard several shots in the area of State St. and then felt a pain in his leg. He collapsed and crawled back into the bar. He was taken to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment of a non-life threatening wound. The man lost his cell phone. He dropped it and his car keys when he collapsed. A bar patron found the keys but not the cell phone.

. Responding officers did not locate any other evidence. A forensic investigator checked the area the next morning. Area residents pointed out where a number of shots were heard the night before. The investigator located spent casings from a handgun. The casings were about 100 yards away from the bar door and near State St. It appears that the wounded man may have been hit by a stray bullet.
