2013-01-04031 Type of Incident: Robbery – food delivery.

. Date / Time: 01-25-2013 at about 2010 hrs. . Location: 2000 block of Briggs St.

. Investigating Officer: Det. Jarrett Ferrari. . Victim R/S/A: Hispanic male, 46, Monte Carlos Pizza . Suspect: Hispanic male, thin and wearing a red sweatshirt. .

Hispanic male, heavy set, about 250-300 lbs., and wearing a gray sweatshirt. .

Charges: Pending . Narrative: On 01-25-2013 at about 2015 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Briggs St. on a report of a robbery. The victim said that he works at Monte Carlos Pizza. A call for food order came in and the caller was contacted to verify the order. As the victim got out of his car he was confronted by two robbers brandishing handguns. They pushed him against the car and took his cell phone, car keys, a small amount of cash and the food. They simply walked away. The victim was not harmed.

. Victim R/S/A: Hispanic male, 40, Michael’s Pizza.

. Suspect: Black male, 20s, about 5’10” and wearing a brown sweatshirt and a dark hat.

. Black male, 20s, heavy set, and wearing a light colored sweatshirt and a half mask on the lower part of his face.

. Charges: Pending.

. Narrative: On 01-26-2013 at about 2100 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the intersection of Market and Thomas Sts. on a report of a robbery. The victim said that he works at Michael’s Pizza of 2341 Berryhill St. A call for food order came in for a residence in the 2400 block of Magnolia Dr. The telephone number provided by the caller did not match the identification of the call. The call was not verified but the order was set for delivery. As the victim got out of his car he was confronted by two robbers brandishing handguns. They ordered him to the pavement and took his cell phone, car keys, and the food. They ran off. The victim was not harmed.

. Victim R/S/A: White male, 58, Dominos Pizza . Suspect: Black male, 30s, thin and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

. Charges: Pending . Narrative: On 01-26-2013 at about 2250 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to Dominos Pizza at 501 S. 29th St. on a report of a robbery. The victim said that he works at the pizza shop. A call for food order came in for delivery to t a residence in the 1800 block of Briggs St. The victim made the delivery without problem. As he returned to his car he was confronted by a man who asked for change and then pulled a handgun. The victim gave the robber a small amount of cash. The robber ran to a waiting car and sped off. The victim was not harmed.

. Date / Time: 01-26-2013 at about 2200 hrs. . Location: 2000 block of Mulberry St.

. Investigating Officer: Det. Christopher Krokos. . Victim R/S/A: Asian male, 28, China Express . Suspect: Black male, 20s, about 5’7” and heavy build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

. Black male, 20s, about 5’6” and thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

. Charges: Pending. . Narrative: On 01-27-2013 a patrol officer was contacted about a robbery of a food delivery man from the China Express at 1819 Paxton St. The robbery took place the night before. Police were notified right after the robbery but the restaurant closed before officers could respond. The victim said that he took the food order to the residence in the 2000 block of Mulberry St. but was confronted by two armed robbers. Each brandished a handgun. One robber punched the victim in the face, breaking his eye glasses. The robbers took the food order and ran off. The victim suffered facial contusions and the loss of his glasses.
