When asked about the fact that the Office of the Receiver issued an order to City Council insisting Council must raise the Earned Income Tax on residents of the City, Governor Corbett states, "The fact that, um, I guess the Plan has a proposal---and I've not looked at the Plan in recent days---that, you know, they're going to have to increase their taxes is unfortunate." The Governor goes on to say that the whole situation is unfortunate and frustrating.
