Accompanied only by his two Great Pyrenees, Kerrmutt and Katie, Lee rnleft East Glacier, Montana, in August 2006 to visit his childhood sweetheart, Nancy, who lives in rnMassachusetts. He arrived there in July 2007.rnrnAfter about a month, Lee began his return trek. He stayed overnight in the Hartville Centre rnparking lot on March 11, generating much interest the following morning. He told The Hartville rnNews he had spoken with more than 100 people by 10:00 A.M.rnrnLee is heading for California, and plans to go on to Alaska in 2010. A friend is writing a book rnabout his adventures.rnrnWhy is Lee making this trip? "Just for the fun of it," he says. "I live life as an adventure every rnday." He is not raising money for any cause, he's not protesting anything, endorsing anything, or rnselling anything. He is an educated, well-spoken man who enjoys talking with the hundreds of rnpeople he meets every day, and is grateful for the support he receives from many of them.rnrnLee is a cancer survivor. He used holistic medicine and diet to overcome the disease. Now he rncalls the cancer his gift.rnrnLee's wagon is homemade. He calls it a "barn on wheels." The Suffolk Punch horses are named rnTom, Max, and Fey.rnrnLee doesn't think his surname or age are important information.
