On May 7th, proponents of the Property Tax Independence Act gathered to support House Bill 1776 and Senate Bill 1400 which would eliminate school property taxes in Pennsylvania. Former Berks County Deputy Sheriff, Terry Sinclair, spoke on the process of serving eviction notices to homeowners who have fallen behind in their property taxes. He declares he was "ashamed, dishonored" by this duty.--Tara Leo Auchey
