Harrisburg Police Chief Pierre Ritter gives a brief of Easter weekend crime incidents. After a light report, the media makes its inquiries about general issues of crime in the City. In response to questions by the press, the Chief details offers of assistance by the State Police, Capitol Police, and surrounding municipalities police forces. He also comments on the proposed Midtown Improvement District plan to hire off duty police offers to patrol Midtown. "It's not too far out of the realm to, you know, maybe need that extra assistance." Ritter says as the weather gets warmer, though, citizens will begin to see more police on bike and foot patrol. --Tara Leo Auchey
