On April 1st, Lewis Moore struck a tree on Market Street and died. There has been much controversy surrounding the accident with the family publicly declaring Moore was chased by police, which caused the crash. In this video Harrisburg Police Captain Colin Clearly presents a detailed description of the police's record of the incident. Cleary gives an account of an initial crash scene at Cameron and Market Streets, where it is alleged Moore hit a taxi cab then fled the scene with a front flat tire. From there, the driver travelled up Market Streets with the vehicle lights off, running red lights, and striking another car before crashing into a tree at what police estimate to be 64 miles an hour.--Tara Leo Auchey
