On January 25th 2011 millions of protesters took to the streets of Cairo calling for Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak to step down, the protests lasted for 18 days in which hundreds of protesters were killed or injured, Mubarak stepped down on February 11, 2011. Mubarak and two sons were eventually charged with premeditated murder and are now on trial in Cairo. Photographer Natalie Cake took some time off from covering events for us in central Pennsylvania and is in Cairo covering the trial.Photos of the one year anniversary of the uprising in Tahrir Square.
