The Pa Supreme Court will hear Oral Arguments in the Reed V. City Council et al on December 1, 2009 the date also marks the potential default of the Harrisburg Authority on it's $10.9 million in bond payments. The lawsuit before the Supreme Court will determine if the Mayor of Harrisburg will control appointee's to the board of the Harrisburg Authority, in a bizarre twist if the Court rules in favor of Mayor Reed it will mean that power to appoint will be vested to Mayor elect Thompson a defendent in the lawsuit.
