Harrisburg Police Chief Tom Carter held a press event to discuss the Halloween weekend in Harrisburg.

Richard McQuown was found bleeding from stab wounds approximitly 10:35am Saturday morning near the Walnut street bridge, has was transported to Hershey medical center but died as a result of the knife attack, police report he was with friends at the Federal Taphouse until around 10:00:pm Friday evening.

Police are asking anyone having information on this incident is asked to contact Detective Richard Iachini at 717-255-3118 or email riachini@cityofhbg.com or Lt Kelly Wetzel at 717-255-3170 or email kwetzel@cityofhbg.com to reach City detectives.

Anyone may also call the Dauphin County Police dispatch at 717-558-6900 and ask for a City detective.

Winston McCullough Jr. 17 years old was shot and killed by 19 year old Jabre Creamer 2:30am Saturday morning, police describe Creamer as playing around with a 22 revolver thinking the safety was on when the gun fired hitting McCullough.

Tyrell Poole was found dead at 319 Woodbine street of an apparent self inflected gun shot, police recovered a 38 caliber hand gun at the scene, Poole had told family members that he was going to harm himself.

Curtis Howard Wanner 41 was arrested after a violent car chase Friday evening, Wanner was spotted driving the wrong way on Second street making his way once again against traffic on Front street, where he entered onto the Harvey Taylor bridge again driving against oncoming traffic.

Wanner hit two police cars and several passenger cars before coming to a stop after hitting a curb in Camp Hill borough, he was charged with multiple criminal charges.

Two weeks ago someone entered a property on the Hill section in Harrisburg, inside the property a gun safe was cut open and approximately 50 guns ranging from a 50 caliber revolver to semi automatic rifles were stolen, police have recovered an estimated 35 of the weapons to date, Harrisburg police are working with Pa State Police and agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to recover the remaining guns.
