Type of Incident: Attempted abduction investigation.

. Date / Time: 04-17-2013 at about 1310 hrs.

. Location: Uptown area.

. Investigating Officer: Det. Rodney Shoeman.

. Person: Juvenile female, 09 yrs., Uptown resident.

. Suspect: Pending.

. Charges: Pending.

. Narrative: On 04-17-2013 at about 1320 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to a home in the Uptown section of the city on a complaint that a child reported a man tried to pull her into a car. . Det. Shoeman responded to assist the officers.

. Significant contradictions were immediately evident and a report has not been filed yet.

. The investigation continues and anyone having any information on this is asked to contact Det. Harrisburg Crime Report: Shooting investigation.

As released by the Harrisburg Bureau of Police:

Type of Incident: Shooting investigation.

. Date / Time: 04-16-2013 at about 2350 hrs.

. Location: 1900 block of Briggs St. . Investigating Officer: Det. Christopher Krokos.

. Person: White female, 22, Allison Hill resident.

. Suspect: Two black males, about 18-20 yrs. old. One wore a red hooded sweatshirt and the other had a black hooded sweatshirt on.

. Charges: Pending.

. Narrative: On 04-16-2013 at about 2355 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Briggs St. on a report that a woman had been shot in the foot. The woman told officers that she was outside a residence in that block at about 2350 hrs. She was getting something from her car and was confronted by two young robbers. They demanded her valuables and told her to get on the ground. The woman didn’t have any valuables. One robber shot her in the foot. The robbers ran off. The woman’s boyfriend was inside and heard the shot. He ran out and chased the robbers but had to stop when they fired at him.

. The woman suffered a gunshot wound to the top of her left foot. She was treated at a local hospital and released.

. Det. Krokos is evaluating aspects of the incident and subsequent information that was presented.
