At 11:25 Wednesday morning Dauphin County Commissioners Haste, Hartwick, and Pries voted to approve grants recommended by the Gaming Advisory Board in the amount of $7,507,000.
The commissioners without any public comment or notice voted to approve more than $4.6 million in grants to the Industrial Development Authority (IDA) as an administrator of said grants.
One of the grants is to the NRA sponsored Great American Outdoor Show for $58K.

Approval of the Gaming Advisory Board recommendations, including all proposed conditions and grant reallocations, and award, allocation and appropriation of gaming funds to the following recipients, in the following amounts, and subject to any additional noted conditions, each, where appropriate, to be memorialized in a grant agreement in a form substantially similar to the grant agreements presented herewith, which agreements are approved by the Commissioners, and the Commissioners, as well as the employees, representatives and agents of the County, are authorized and directed to execute, deliver and take any and all actions necessary and appropriate in connection with the same and in order to effectuate the purposes and carry out the intent of this motion, with the execution and delivery of any such additional documents or the taking of any such action by the same conclusively evidencing the due authorization and approval thereof by the County:
