A bill introduced by Senator David Argall (R)-29 will receive consideration in the Senate of Pennsylvania today.

The intent of Argall's initiative is to cut the bureaucratic red tape facing the potato farmers in Pennsylvania by allowing them to sell potatoes in weight increments of their choosing.

Currently potato farmers are limited to selling potatoes over increments of three pounds in increments of 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50 and 100 pounds or multiples thereof.
