As released by the Harrisburg Bureau of Police:

Type of Incident: Assault investigation.

. Date / Time: 04-09-2013 at about 0300 hrs.

. Location: Hall Manor, apartment building 22.

. Investigating Officer: Detective Christopher Krokos.

. Victim: Black male, 31, Uptown Harrisburg.

. Suspect: Christopher Battle, B/M/30, last known address Hall Manor aka: Country.

. Charges: Attempted Homicide Aggravated Assault Other related offenses.

. Narrative: On 04-09-2013 at about 0300 hrs. patrol officers were dispatched to apartment building 22 in Hall Manor on a report that a man was stabbed. The officers found the man at a nearby intersection. He was bleeding profusely from a stab wounds to his arm and chest. He was taken to the Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

. The investigation provided that the victim was visiting Juaneka Alexander and socialized at a local bar. Miss Alexander recently ended a relationship with Christopher Battle. As the victim and Miss Alexander left the bar they were confronted by Battle who punched the woman. They group separated. The victim and Miss Alexander went to her apartment. Battle soon arrived and beat on the door, demanding entry. Battle made entry via a window and confronted the victim with a knife, threatening to kill him. Battle stabbed the man six times. The victim was able to get out and called for police. Battle went after Miss Alexander but the victim didn’t know if she was harmed.

. As the police and medic units arrived numerous people gathered, including relatives of Miss Alexander. One relative told officers that she was able to speak to Miss Alexander at a nearby apartment. Miss Alexander was said to be injured with a stab wound to the hand and back. Miss Alexander was fearful and would not talk to police. Officers went to the apartment but Miss Alexander was not there.

. Christopher Battle is being charged as noted and is being sought.

. Miss Alexander’s whereabouts and situation is not known. Det. Krokos is trying to determine her status.
