During the January 23rd CeaseFirePA rally at the Pennsylvania Capitol, City of Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson said a few words to the crowd about the need to pass legislation that combats gun violence.

Calling on Governor Corbett to support the call for reform, Thompson said, "So, I say to the governor, I hope that you can seize this moment and use your bully pulpit to get behind us."

Not losing the opportunity to use her recently unveiled re-election campaign slogan, Mayor Thompson ended her speech with, "Onward to victory!"
