On May 22nd, the Harrisburg Mayor joined the Wednesday Club in celebrating its 130th birthday. The Wednesday Club is dedicated to supporting the musical arts in the Harrisburg region. During her speech, the Mayor points out that the Club was started by "the wives of politicians and local Harrisburg leaders of that time." As she says, many of the City's streets are named after these prominent families, such as Boas, Reily, and Cameron streets.--Tara Leo Auchey
