ARCHIVE VIDEO from 2010: In 2007, the Harrisburg School District received a million dollar for YouthBuild, U.S.A, a Federal program designed to teach various construction skills to high school drop-outs. After an investigation, the U.S Department of Labor concluded the Harrisburg School District had mismanaged the vocational program. At this May 2010 press conference, Board of Control Chair, Gloria Martin-Roberts, comments on how Stuart Kermes, Director of the YouthBuild program, was able to purchase a $23,000 van without authorization.---Tara Leo Auchey
